Web Middleware Support (2 year level role)



Responsibilities:

· Middleware and hardware implementations, installations, upgrades, migrations, configuration,
change request implementation, troubleshooting, outage resolution

· WebSphere Application Server; installations, upgrades, configurations, maintenance of single and
multiple nodes implementations

· Break/Fix, Request/Change Management, Incident and Problem Management, Outage Resolution,
operational issue escalation

Environment Support

· Provide Daily Operations Activities

· Monitor Server Processes

· Perform operational procedures activities when failures or defects are identified

· Perform root cause analysis of process failures

· Report failures or defects on the servers supporting infrastructure to the GWH Help Desk.

· Create incident and change tickets (IMACS) in GWH Service Center Tool.

· Coordinate the testing and implementation of software enhancements and patches with SMC system administrator and GWH resources.

· Production Builds / Release Management Support

· Code/Content Release Management; Deploy applications in clustered environment.

· Provide direction and oversight of the HP India Build Team with Build Planning, Code Promotion,

· Application Verification, Build Related Troubleshooting.

· Review Route One delivered build packages

· Review HP India team published build plans and provide oversight/input.

· Interface with client and coordinate and oversee application deployment/builds by offshore team.

· Participate and assist Route One and the HP India Build Team in troubleshooting activities related to builds.

· Institute process improvement in build/release management

· Deploy J2EE Business applications to WebSphere Application Server

· Create, maintain, and modify build scripts and the build environment.

· Maintain documents for build processes.
