Positions at this level will contribute to internal team standards and processes and may contribute to the development of solutions to complex problems. Regularly contributes to project team and act as a source for direction, training and guidance for less experienced departmental staff. Essential functions include the following: Develop net new scripts and debug existing scripts. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, equipment and systems. Work closely with vendors and enterprise architects, name and directory services and access management. Perform operational activities in support of large scale projects and programs requiring technical coordination between various IS or business disciplines. Provide overall technical expertise with focus in active directory, LDAP, group policies and overall infrastructure stack. Knowledge of all aspects of core infrastructure and best practices. Ability to identify process opportunities and fully map and document workflows. Ability to engage workflow participants to discuss workflow. Perform assessment activities which include identifying, assessing, designing, implementing, and supporting moderately complex technology change initiatives across the enterprise. Builds and participates in migration plan and automated configuration. Acts as a resource during testing and migrations; coordinates with appropriate individuals. Manage small projects. Establish and implement new or revised technology processes and procedures. Contributes to solution scope and resolves technical issues. Develops and executes technical procedures and run books that are coordinated with other work plans. Handles risk and uncertainty.
