This position plays a major role in the development and implementation of core business systems, mentors and guides other Business Systems Analysts and works directly with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize work. In addition, the Business Systems Analyst serves as the liaison between the Product Owner/business users and technology programmers to understand user needs and develop required requirements/solutions and may serve in a project manager capacity for smaller work efforts. Primary Responsibilities: Analyzes business needs, documents requirements and translates needs into functional, non-functional and/or technical specifications Analyzes current business processes and make recommendations for improvement Delivers requirements, performs analysis, and evaluates downstream business, systems, process, and/or organizational impacts Works with Product Owner and business users to understand requirements Liaison between the Product Owner/business users and technology programmers Translator of functional to technical Provides subject matter expert and operational support to internal business partners Plans and executes testing activities including defect identification and resolution Stocking the product backlog - Establish a list of user stories that represent the overall scope of the program.
