Demonstrates depth of understanding in most if not all areas of business analysis including; enterprise analysis and process modeling, business analysis planning and monitoring, elicitation, requirements analysis, solution assessment and validation, requirements management and communication Formulates and defines scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Ensures the technology solutions needed for commercial off-the-shelf products or internal legacy systems meet the stated business needs. Primary responsibility is the clear understanding of the business and user needs and well-structured documentation of functional and non-functional requirements that are translated into proper system requirement specifications. Able to take full responsibility for own work (and that of others where applicable). Deals with complex situations holistically. Works independently and may plan, supervise, or lead the work of others on large projects and work efforts. May fulfill project management roles on smaller sized projects. Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring o Selects appropriate business analysis approach o Evaluates project complexity, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies o Identifies all stakeholders o Determines stakeholder influence and relationship needs o Builds and manages stakeholder (internal & external) relationships. Relationships with stakeholders include: Business partners, users, vendors, customers, project team members, and management leaders o Develops a business analysis work-plan to manage own and teams activities, tasks, deliverables, and schedule o Develops effective communication plan to meet project and stakeholder needs o Plans Requirements Approval and Change o Identifies and communicates risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope o Measures and tracks quality of business analysis work o Reports on business analysis measurements o Improves business analysis performance by taking preventive and corrective action o Complies with and upholds organizational standards o Responds to changing organizational priorities Elicitation o Ensures appropriate stakeholders are involved in elicitation activities o Effectively obtains needed information from stakeholders to form requirements o Accurately captures information provided in elicitation sessions o Validates requirements with stakeholder Requirements Management and Communication o Successfully obtains the needed approvals on solution requirements o Effectively manages changes to requirements o Effectively manages conflicts and issues to resolution o Traces requirements from business case to implemented solution o Leverages the uses of traceability o Identifies and maintains requirements for reuse o Prepares Requirements Documentation o Presents requirements in understandable format o Confirms that stakeholders have a shared understanding of requirements o Uses appropriate communication method based on stakeholder o Able to assess impacts of changes to requirements Enterprise Analysis o Identifies and defines business needs o Identifies opportunities for improvemen   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
