Job Description Analyst: Advanced IIS 6 And 7.X, .NET FRAMEWORK, Windows Server 2003 And 2008, Internet Explorer VB Experience

[Note : Start Date : 12-15-2011
End Date : 05-19-2012]

Description :

2-4 years of higher education (MIS, Computer Science) or IT related technical education.
Advanced knowledge with installing, configuring and troubleshooting IIS (6 and 7.x).
Familiar with configuring and administrating multiple .NET framework versions.
1-2 years of Windows (2003/2008) Server support experience. Candidate is expected to understand basic server support concepts including application/performance troubleshooting, server application installations, configuring IIS security settings and implementing GPOs related to server security settings.
Internet Explorer web browser knowledge including application compatibility modes and SSL.
VB or PowerShell scripting experience with the ability to script simple web server administrative tasks.
Technical problem solving skills, self-motivated with the ability to provide after hours support.

Positive attitude, motivated, adaptable and focused.
Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
Ability to clearly express complex issues through effective verbal and written communication. This includes the ability to author technical documentation.

Ability to work collaboratively at all levels.

Preferred technical skills:
3-5 years IIS Web server administration experience. Apache and Websphere administration experience is a plus.
Microsoft Active Directory administrative experience. Basic understanding of GPOs and how they relate to web server security and performance.
1-2 years of .NET (3.51/4.0) development experience. Team Foundation Server administration experience is a plus.
Apache reverse proxy server and Tomcat web application support experience.
Scripting experience with VBScript, JavaScript, Powershell and WMI.
Experience with basic authentication and Kerberos methodologies regarding web site security and encryption.
