[A migrated copy in MS Access 2007 is available and the Access 2007 coding has been converted with commercial tool to VB both are available for use in project]. Backend is shared enterprise MS SQL 2012 db. Database contains unencrypted SSNs (Non-disclosure agmt required). SSNs need to be encrypted (or at least the first five numbers encrypted, leaving the last four unencrypted). The last four are used by Access Idaho and other applications and the solution used must be compatible with their current work. Establish within the db a 1:many relationship with Contacts and Licenses which is currently a 1:1. A CF script and supporting logic has been developed to match licenses to contacts. Expand contact address info to include an optional employer/business address and an option to select either address as primary mailing address. Employer address shall point to Business license holder record in db if one exists. Cost is concern. The work must be completed within budget allowed. If authorized funds remain after completing the above, then a priority list of additional enhancements may be added to project including 1) add table and relationships for existing external discipline db (.mdb) and migrate the information 2) add table and relationships for existing CPD information (.xls) and migrate the information. In addition to adding the tables, contractor will add data mgmt to frontend for the additional table(s). Agency FY15 funds may allow an early start of project in June 2015.
