Work with service teams, sales teams and prospects to establish credibility and discover/conceive and sell innovative data center infrastructure solutions. Articulates leading edge best practices, architectures, and technologies to present innovative computing architectures. Works on complex and sensitive business problems and provides state of the art data center solutions that are highly creative. Supports and conceives new service opportunities that exceed those currently offered by other providers. Participates in developing the strategy and initiatives for the services team and helps lead development and execution. Can properly leverage and position innovative computing solutions for business and IT executives. Assist in the development of key processes, policy decisions and technical implementations, and service programs Capable of identifying and driving development of best practices around optimal use of integrated solution and/or operational activities and processes On key projects oversee both AMO and PMO teams, including the coaching of project managers and SOW build to ensure successful project scope delivered. Develop and nurture strong client relationships at the executive (CEO, CTO, and CIO) and director levels; educate and advise clients on industry trends and technologies; attain trusted advisor status to clients. Help qualify and develop new business initiatives within existing client base and targeted prospects. Key Domain expertise: End-to-End DC Virtualization and Cloud Architecture integration Consulting skills required: Passionate, persuasive, charismatic thought leader capable of quickly establishing executive interest in how to architect, deploy and operate the virtualized data center of the future. Excellent written, verbal and presentation and chalkboard skills Experience in Enterprise applications, solutions and data center infrastructures as well cloud environments Understands and can articulate the value and business advantage of data center virtualization techniques and cloud architectures Strong customer-facing sales and architectural skills. Ability to quickly establish credibility and excitement with CxO to IT Managers, as well as work collaboratively with hands on technical professionals. Proven ability to document, propose and present comprehensive computing (virtualized) architecture and cloud integration recommendations Technical Skills desired: Broad technical knowledge of the data center, the three infrastructure pillars: Storage, Network and Server, and projects surrounding their planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization. Architectural knowledge of virtualization tools and concepts Architectural knowledge of Three Tiered application environments Extensive experience with Linux and Microsoft operating systems; experience with other Unix operating systems and Openstack are a plus. In depth knowledge and experience with virtualization tools and concepts, SAN, Server technologies and data center and cloud Operations.
