The FAS Portfolio consists of the following types of Applications Cost Management Enrollment and Statistical Reporting Fraud Information Management Plan Performance Evaluation Plan Online Access FEP Security These applications are hosted with various technologies such as JAVA, ColdFusion and SQLServer Primary Responsibilities Responsible for overall understanding of the FAS area, its applications, usages and user community. Work as the Technical expert for the FAS components of the FEP Informatics Management program. Participate in planning and yearly release planning sessions of the FAS applications Responsible for intake, resolution and documentation of issues reported by Blue Plans, Help Desk, and Vendors regarding various Consumer Tools issues. Participate in the development a roadmap for the future direction of the FAS area, its applications, and future requirements and how those requirements can be met for the good of the business units. Defining repeatable processes for the support and maintenance of the FAS applications. Define Standard Operating Procedures for FAS Support and Maintenance Create an inventory of the FAS applications, their user community and basic functionality. Requirements: Requires an advanced degree in health science, quantitative social science, public health, health services research or business, or BA/BS with demonstrated equivalent work experience Requires 10+ years of healthcare Payer industry experience. 5+ years of experience in Health Care (managed care, academic, or govt payer), 5 or more years of experience as a Health Data Analyst, or related role in a health care setting. Knowledgeable on various technologies such as JAVA, ColdFusion, JavaScript, SQL, and SAS.
