Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer will be responsible developing, enhancing and supporting existing and new client facing applications using React and NodeJS/Express, plus a python service for database access. This role will also interface with business and product owners to understand requirements and use cases for the application.

The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for:

? Shaping the architecture and building out our suite of reporting and client facing products
? Continuously improving the process for which we build our products
? Making high impact decisions in technology that will help drive our company through the high growth stages
? Standardizing the way we operate and maintain our software
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelors degree in Computer Science or the equivalent experience
? At least 3 - 5 years of experience working as a software engineer
? Experience with Python using aiohttp or other web frameworks
? Experience with any Python ORM, or otherwise programmatically interacting with databases
? Debugging-level or better experience in React or other UI frameworks
? Debugging-level or better experience in JavaScript, TypeScript
? Experience in NodeJS and Express
? Experience in creating unit tests
? Experienced in operationalizing and maintaining software
? Can communicate and collaborate with product and other stakeholders
? Will strive for producing quality software but also has a bias for action
? Is pragmatic and prioritizes the product goals, team goals and organizational goals
? Is an advocate for continuous learning and improvement
? Knowledge or experience of the TV or advertising industry is a strong plus

Required technology competencies include:
? Programming languages: Python, JavaScript, React, NodeJS/Express
? Tools: Jenkins, Git
? Infrastructure: NodeJS, Gulp
? Databases: Mongo (or other NoSQL), MySQL (or other OLTP), Clickhouse/Redshift (or other OLAP), Athena, Spark
