We are in the process of sizing and upgrading existing hardware and performing software enhancements to our enterprise HCM application in preparation for a self-service rollout. Individual should possess infrastructure “lead” experience with large organizations preferably public sector. POSITION OVERVIEW • Lead the planning, sizing, execution and monitoring of the data center build out, equipment procurement, infrastructure upgrade, and standup of new hardware needed to support the self-service rollout • Responsible for detailed organization, direction, and control of problem definition, requirements definition, design, coding, testing, security, and installation of new applications or enhancements to existing applications. • Create and manage the project plan and schedule • Manage the internal relationships between the internal technical departments involved in the effort • Manage stakeholder expectations while delivering on business requirements • Manage the communication, risk, costs, issues, status reporting and their applicable administration effort (e.g. scheduling and leading meetings, stakeholder updates, etc) • Responsible for insuring that support staff are prepared and trained to provide ongoing support services. • Provide updates to weekly status reports and schedule weekly project team meetings • Coordinate review of deliverables and obtain appropriate signature(s) to signify acceptance for each accepted deliverable • Facilitate meetings, presentations & product demos as necessary REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (5 years mandatory minimum experience): • Substantial previous experience in project management in a technical infrastructure planning and deployment role • Experience in application development - including requirements gathering, design, some coding, testing, security, and implementation. • IBM AIX, Oracle, EMC, Legato, and networking experience from an infrastructure and planning perspective required • Experience with large and complex data centers supporting organizations with enterprise applications for HCM and finance that support employee populations in excess of 80,000 • Strong communication (written & verbal), organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, facilitation, negotiation and follow through skills • Must be able to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization and staff and be effective within the business and technical departments • Experience managing and directing other team members • Successful track record in facilitating large and complex projects for sizing hardware requirements, procuring new hardware, infrastructure security, environment build outs ADDITIONAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (preferred) • PMP certification helpful, but not required • Knowledge of infrastructure security architectures • Knowledge of DBA activities used with databases such as Oracle 11g • Knowledge of large ERP application technologies such as PeopleSoft tools, PIA administration, configuration and tuning and technologies from a PS Admin perspective • Knowledge of 4 tier architecture (client, web, application server, database server) • Experience with MS Office suite, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and MS Project very helpful • Performs other duties as required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
