The incumbent is responsible for supporting an effort to install TUAM within ITD before Fiscal Year end on June 30th, 2012 and ensure this system adheres to established business processes and completely supplants the current chargeback system. In addition, the incumbent will exercise independent judgment in interpretation and/or development of new guidelines and procedures. Roles : * Tracking and reporting status of the project, including identifying obstacles, documenting risks, suggesting alternate approaches and risk mitigation techniques. * Managing all vendor coordination while the project moves along. * Ensuring that the vendor and ITD collaboration teams complete all deliverables on schedule and within budget. Eliminates obstacles that may jeopardize project completion dates or increase costs. * Working with ITD staff and selected customers to clarify high level TUAM requirements and needs using existing material and updating it as needed. Ensure that these requirements are communicated to and understood by vendor. Ensures ITD staff and customers are available to vendor for clarifications. * Observe current practices and determine how to incorporate the best elements of those while determining what business process potentials exist for improvements with the deployment of the TUAM toolset; * As time and budget permit, work with internal stakeholders to develop and execute governance models for long term project stability * Help develop end-user training materials and documentation Required Skills : * 3-6 Years of Experience managing software release projects with financial or chargeback type projects preferred * Demonstrated track record of bringing projects in within budget and timelines. * Experience working with both business and technical staff to understand requirements. * Ability to quickly identify obstacles and find solutions. * Knowledge of the Commonway (PMBOK) method of project implementation; * Should be self-motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills. * Ability to successfully manage simultaneous multiple projects and competing demands. * Proven oral and written communication skills; including excellent business presentation skills * Ability to effectively use the entire MS Office tool suite, including Visio, Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; * Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within the organization; and * Experience with IBMs Tivoli Service Request Management preferred   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
