Description:

Detailed Description of Services:
The Workforce Modernization Project Coordinator/PMO Specialist will be responsible for procuring materials, professional services, vendor management, and Capital Project budget management for the Workforce Modernization Program HASTUS software implementation. Part-time position -20 hours/week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the preparation of requisitions, track purchase orders and monitor departmental spending by utilizing PeopleSoft, ERP Financial Systems, Capital Management Systems (CMS), and/or other Authority budgeting tools.
• Develop working relationships with Authority approved vendors, Purchasing department, outside consultants, and project leadership to ensure availability of resources and materials for project success.
• Assist with the data collection for all financial, statistical and performance data requests that need to be assembled for internal use.
• Coordinate approval of requisitions and payments applicable to the program.
• Review and process for payment, consultant, construction, and material invoices in order to assure that payments are in accordance with pre-established authorizations.
• Ensure budgetary goals are met and that all work is performed in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Uphold the rights and interests of the Authority while building and maintaining an effective relationship with employees.
• Assist with the implementation of Workforce Modernization Program (WMP) systems, including, but not limited to, the Daily Operations system and Bid system for Bus, Heavy Rail and Light Rail transportation district in HASTUS software.
• Respond to each inquiry, whether from a customer, vendor or co-worker in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the Authoritys customer service quality standard.
• Perform related duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements I Qualifications:

• An Associate s Degree or higher from arl accredited institution in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in a PMO budgetary capacity.
• Two (2) years of experience in Procurement, vendor management, contract management, project management, and IT related technical project support.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, quantitative, confidentiality, multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Strong computer and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft, FMIS, ERP, etc. preferred.
• The ability to comprehend, communicate and respond to instructions, orders, signs, notices, inquiries, etc. in English.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner. Have excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• The ability to provide internal and external customers with a courteous and professional experience.
• The ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
