Perl, VB, PowerShell etc We are looking to add a new resource to their Websphere Application Server team (7.0-8.0). This is a backfill for recent departure. This resources primary responsibility will be to support the Java DEV team here in Greensboro and support their work in Test, QA and production environments. They currently have 3 Servers for NA and 20 throughout the global environment. There is 1 other team member that sits outside the US that this person will be partnering with to cover each others envionments, This will include daily meetings (similiar to scrumm) with the DEV team to discuss current projects and support that need to be provided. This resource will also manage any alerts within the environment and troubleshoot as required. Secondly, they will be responsible for working and supporting the Websphere MQ tool. This tool allows all of the different application platforms to speak back and forth to each other within their integration environment. This tool sits on a Linux/Unix environment so a solid understanding of this platform is important.
