This role will comprise of several key accountabilities covering the run and change activities including AWS cloud migration for applications used for various commodity risk areas and modernizing Market Risk platforms. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Design and lead ETL solutions for VaR reporting Working on POCs and suggesting appropriate technology stack to Modernize Market Risk IT&S. Staging data from multiple ETRM systems (including Endur, Epsilon, Solarc), developing ETL transformations for populating ODS (Operational data store) and storing historical Market Risk data in Market Risk Data Warehouse. Analyzing and explaining VaR (value at risk) numbers based on analysis of Exposures, Prices, volatilities, Correlations and other parameters which are used as inputs for calculating VaR. Designing and implementing VaR explained solutions to explain day on day changes in Value at Risk. Modifying ETL solutions and PL/SQL code to migrate Market Risk Database platform to Cloud Working with Business users to gather requirements, preparing Logical mappings and implementing ETL solutions for Market Risk Business users. Monitor and maintain application security and integrity Manage code within Team Foundation Server source control system Monitor application performance and assist the tuning 3rd line support of production systems including analysis and troubleshooting of problems Assist with release or change management process Document and provide knowledge transition to backup team members Essential Experience: Informatica Power Center (10.1.1) Oracle 12g PostgreSQL 11.5 Informatica BDM Cloudera Data Lake Business Object 4.2 Stonebranch Visual Studio (2013 or higher) Source control system (TFS, GIT, VSTS) Knowledge of Value at Risk and parameters required to calculate VaR Knowledge of ETRM systems including Endur, Epsilon and Solarc Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile (SCRUM) processes and tools Intellectual curiosity, creativity and passion for professional software development.
