Description:

Summary:

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is currently seeking an exceptional individual to join the EHS IT team. The Executive Office of Health and Human Services seeks an IT Project Manager (PM) to lead and manage the T-MSIS implementation project. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled team and contribute to a critical and highly visible project within the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.

The T-MSIS Project is the implementation of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS), a required state Medicaid reporting process and standard. As most Medicaid beneficiaries are enrolled in managed care, encounter data is the primary source of information about their health and service use. Therefore, data quality is essential for measuring and monitoring the quality of managed care plans.
The TMSIS Project Manager will join the EOHHS MMIS Team in leading the T-MSIS project. The T-MSIS PM is responsible for overseeing the Information Technology Team that is responsible for the implementation, operations, and maintenance for the CMS T-MSIS Priority Items (TPIs) monthly reporting. The T-MSIS PM plays an important role in the communication and issue tracking to resolution functions of the T-MSIS Governance Team. The Governance Team is tasked to ensure the accurate, completeness, timely, and consistent submission and reporting of encounter data by the Managed Care organizations.
