Candidate will engage in consultation regarding the mental and behavioral health for all youth at Wilder Youth Development Center. Candidate will provide clinical expertise and knowledge to assist staff and facility leadership in responding to youths mental health needs. Candidate will review mental health records and available mental health and psychological evaluations for all youth entering facility. Candidate will conduct mental health assessments on youth entering facility and administer more comprehensive psychological evaluations if needed. Candidate will lead monthly Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings at Wilder and collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals to ensure positive outcomes for youth. Candidate will serve as a liaison to the Center of Excellence and to acute psychiatric hospitals. Candidate will participate in Child and Family Team Meetings to discuss and address mental health needs of youth. Candidate will consult with contracted vendor providing therapeutic services to ensure therapeutic needs of youth are being met. Candidate will engage in an ongoing systemic assessment to identify appropriate services and treatment modalities for the youth at Wilder YDC.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
