The role serves as an expert in developing enterprise business intelligence applications that support GDAC portfolio teams (Criminal Justice, Financial Fraud, Child Wellness, Longitudinal Performance, Health), implementing SAS and other technology-based analytics solutions for GDAC customers. While not involved in day-to-day technical operations support, given the vendor-hosted nature of the application, the position is responsible for comprehending and assessing the technical components of various applications. Additionally, it provides technical support to the project team in terms of data anal analysis, queries, and reporting. This role will function as the technical lead/SME for the innovation team within the GDAC Enterprise team, overseeing the introduction of innovative enterprise proof of concepts and solutions using latest technologies. This entails utilizing advanced analytics and data science techniques, including Artificial Intelligence, by leveraging specialized technologies such as SAS and other industry standard cloud native non-SAS technologies and tools. This is a technical lead role with a more specialized skill set, heightened level of knowledge and experience in data engineering and data science technologies. This position aligns with statewide strategic plans to leverage data assets and analytics to further advance a data-driven government. Advance the data integration and analytics program statewide.
