The Data Analyst also provides technical consulting and support on complex applications and problems Basic Requirements: 1 + years experience Python or Java, SQL Migration from RMS14 to SIM16 (retail merchandising system) (store inventory management) Highly motivated and has an inclination to experiment with and explore data Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to process data into meaningful information Formal Job Description: The Inventory Service is a Tier-1 application that supports the 4 websites owned by our company. Every customer view on these websites hits our services and we integrate with 14+ source systems that provide us with supply and demand data. We support multiple use cases for our company including Product Details Page, Checkout, Manhattan store transfers, Trunk Club Stylist and other use cases. Our service integrates with SOLR and provides the search team with our Inventory picture to help customers search for items on the website. We also partner with the Inventory Integrity Team to help analyze the inventory across 118 full-line stores, 250 Rack stores and warehouses. Going forward, we have multiple integrations and projects influx including the support for a brand new website in Canada, and integration with our new warehousing technology via WINE. The Inventory Service is to help support migration of our Retail Management System data from RMS14 to SIM16. We are also a part of a companywide initiative to help drive more sales for the company and contributing to reduce cancels further for holiday and Anniversary 2020. Overall Duties: Understands basic fundamental concepts, theories and principles of business/systems analysis Completes assigned tasks using business/systems analysis concepts under guidance of a more experienced professional Communicates effectively with identified stakeholders Applies basic and increasing knowledge in system features and technology standards Helps define minimum feature set and user acceptance criteria for simple solutions Assists engagement with engineers to design low to medium risk solutions Testing and troubleshooting Updates requirements/tech specs based on testing, prioritized defects or post release lessons learned Supports communication for application/system deployment Investigates root cause of production issues Documents technical solutions to identified problems Assists in ensuring application availability Thinks Analytically: Understands tasks and works to identify how to break down tasks in a systematic way Strives to identify root causes Clarifies problems by driving to understand the true issue Investigates functionality to understand where problems are likely to occur Analyzes Data: Identifies and collects quantitative data from a variety of information systems Sorts and assesses relevance of data, statistics and information in a systematic way Classifies and arranges data for stakeholder review and data-driven decision making Uses tools to manage data and data analysis Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capac   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
