Development of USE Cases and mapping to BRD( Business Requirements Documents) & TD (Technical Design Documents) requirements 2. Develop the BRD & FSD (Functional Specifications) STP (system Test Plans) and UAT( User Acceptance Testing);traditional waterfall SDLC 3. Each BA applying for these positions should have the foundation background of understanding IIBA principals, BABOK certification preferred and have at least written over 6 BRD, FSD, STP themselves, as an individual contributor, not part of a team 4. Each BA must have a clear concise excellent command of the English language. 5. Each BA must have very good experience in getting requirements in difficult situations 6. Each BA must have 7 plus years experience 7. Each BA must have experience in prototyping tools that are interactive –not static BA must have experience with the foundation points 1-7 and in addition Disaster Recovery Gain a clear understanding of how the business works and what happens when there is an IT interruption. Strategies are defined, taking into account the potential risks to which a given function is exposed and the impact on the business should that function be interrupted. These processes are known respectively as risk assessment and BIA The Business Analysis is responsible for translating business operations recovery requirements into a practical plan designed to restore operations as quickly as possible. • Identification of vulnerabilities of application interruption and its effect. • The determination of the resilience layer performance scores to identify areas needing improvement • The BA is consistently analyzing the current business and technology practices, looking for points where an organization might be vulnerable. Part of the analysts responsibility is to create a technical infrastructure or framework that can actually support the recommended disaster plan. • The disaster recovery business analyst creates and tests the recovery strategies to ensure the plan would be successful. The BA must begin the necessary steps to create the framework for enhancing the resilience of migrating the risks faced by each layer in our infrastructure • The BA will discuss company-wide system modifications and evaluate any implications for the plan. Their role is to provide a "checks and balance" system to make sure that the organization doesnt make a decision that opens it up to risk later. • The BA will create testing sequences and training programs to walk a department of the organization through a recovery test. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Gathers and documents the detailed business requirements in form of a traceable, testable and verifiable format 2. Applies use cases to fully ascertain the functionality of the system changes. 3. Guides the business to make the appropriate decisions to reach a positive impact to the technology solution 4. Develop and execute system test plans. 5. Define workflow for all assigned projects. 6. Maps business processes and helps to define QA tests with the Quality Assurance team. 7. Make appropriate business decisions that carry the project forward to completion and elevate any concerns of delay to management when necessary. 8. Work closely with all IT Managers involved with the project. 9. Works closely with the business users in identifying business rules to aid in the functional specifications of tasks so that the IT Designers and Developers are able to create programs that fulfill all business expectations. 10.
