Ellucian Banner 9 Database Administrator

Technical Skills

3+ years of Ellucian Banner 9 technical implementation consultant experience with higher education clients.
Ellucian Banner 9 experience.
Proficiency in Oracle 12c RDBMS and Weblogic or higher is required.
Competence in Banner Student Information System and associated integrated systems.
Experience with the following: Ellucian Solutions Manager (ESM), JAVA, Jenkins, and Redhat 6.x or higher.
Maintain releases of Banner 9 applications, troubleshoot and fix errors in existing applications systems.
Collaborate with the implementation team (Business Analysts, testers, developers and administrators).
Support implementation team on current issues.
Strong problem solving experience.
BS or MS in Computer Science preferred.

Soft Skills

Strong problem solving experience.
Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conducting presentations and advising implementation team on technical issues.
Assist in planning production roll-out and deployment related activities.
Create and maintain documentation and standards.
Create and maintain thorough and complete technical documentation of all ERP Ellucian Banner 9 customizations and reports.
Work with onsite and off-site teams to support Ellucian Banner 9 development/processing.
