Job Description :

Mid-level Manual QAs needed for the testing of development on 2 applications within Fox Sports - AMSR application, and sharepoint application. QAs will need to have experience with API testing, have a strong understanding of the difference between REST and SOAP APIs, and have very strong communicationskills.

QA 80% Manual / 20% Automation

Location:


On Site at Playa Vista preferred.

Near shore considered as long as the candidate can work on the West Coast time zone. (Candidate must be outside of a reasonable travel distance from the Playa Vista Office)



High level requirement:




This position is for a QA Engineer for the FBC and Sports Marketing IT Team. Initially the person will be involved in controlling the quality of development of two areas:

1. Our .net based AMSR application

2. Our custom Salesforce Workflow development



Scope will include test case development, manual test case execution, test case automation, and release troubleshooting.


Key Responsibilities:


· Story grooming of enhancements and bug fixes to determine its intended functionality for testability and verification.

· Create thorough and detailed test cases.

· Manually execute test cases against the application.

· Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing

· Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders.

· Create and manually execute thorough regression test cases and negative test cases.


Required skill set:


· Ability to fit with team, push back when needed and hold others accountable.

· Willingness to be accountable for inevitable QA gaps and propose ways to address them where applicable

· Experience testing complex business rules, logic, and workflows.

· Experience testing complex UI behavior.

· Excellent communication skills to interact with users, developers, business analysts, and IT Management.

· Experience with Agile/Scrum.



Technical Skills


· HTML knowledge – Jr developer level and up

· OOP programming skill (JAVA preferred)– Jr developer level and up

· API testing automation experience (SOAP & REST) – Jr developer level and up

· Experience with Selenium WebDriver automation development. – Jr Developer and up

· Experience with Selenium Page Object and Page Factory framework. – Jr developer level and up

· CI/CD QA integration knowledge – introductory level and up

· Basic database query skills (SQL etc)

· UAT and Integration testing experience



Technical Skills +

(not required but nice to have)


· Salesforce Experience

· UNIX - Shell scripting knowledge (Linux) preferred

· HP LoadRunner (other HP Testing product like HP QTP/UFT) experience

· Continuous Integration software (Jenkins, Bamboo) knowledge

· Experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA)
