This role needs to have good technical hands-on skills and business acumen who can build and present demos and reference architectures based out of customer use cases. Our team is also responsible for performing deep-dive competitive analysis and assisting with big tradeshows like HP Protect, RSA, and Black Hat. Strong experience with HP ArcSight / Security Information Event Management (SIEM) / Security Operations Center (SOC) is highly desired. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined parameters to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Interprets research results and develops insights that cross projects and organizations.Provide leadership on contract negotiations with research vendors. Influence syndicated and primary market research and customer research agendas. Provide business and customer intelligence for HP key competitors, partners and customers. Consult with internal customers on business problems and design research projects to provide answers. Build methodology and process for market sizing and share analyses. Determine key industry issues and conduct analysis on topics and issues, translate industry trends and challenges into opportunities/threats and communicate findings. Develop actionable marketing recommendations and insights to support strategic planning. BA or BS in Marketing; MBA preferred. 7PLUS years marketing and research experience.
