Responsibilities/duties: • Document current Encounter and MMIS data Extract process for a specific Project • Provide gap analysis of current data extract process • Identify remediation of data extract process gaps and propose solution • Recode existing macro based code including remediation as approved • Validate results of all extracts and reports • Create and maintain a schedules of data production and delivery • Take responsibility for internal and External{e.g Cross agency collaboration) request for data extract from MMIS and Encounter data • Interact on a Professional basis with internal and external staff in a personable manner • Develop reports for general, financial,clinical and case management, Managed care, and Health care, and Payment Reform purpose as requested • Support on going development of cost, utilization and other reporting metrics, including collaboration with business program manager for MCO and MMIS source data. • Communicate business requirements to Cognos and Oracle developers and work with them to implement solutions for the business community, • Communicate progress, or impediments to progress, to user and management. Qualifications: • Strong base SAS and SQL skilss on a Windows platform required; other progamming skills, (e.g. VBA), a plus • Strong analytical skills required • Able to demonstrate data manipulation and report production in a health care environment required • Ability to serve as both technical data analyst/programmer as well as business analyst in a fast moving environment • Knowledge of Medicaid terminology, structures and programs • High level communication skills including the ability to express findings and recommendations clearly to end users and several levels of management, verbally visually and in writing • Extensive experience in MS Office; other relevant software experience desired • Ability to gather and analyze operations through interview and observation • Ability to manage multiple ongoing   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
