This position is not an administration position where an individual uses SCCM to patch and deploy software. Our client is looking for someone who understands the Infrastructure component. This resource will understand how the infrastructure components talk to each other, how they are configured, and how to manage the back end pieces. Site replication, OSD, Inventory collecting, etc. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Desktop Infrastructure and Technology is looking for an exceptional partner to join the Workstation Infrastructure team. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · An undergraduate college degree or equivalent experience · Familiarity with enterprise system support processes including change control, problem management and escalation procedures · Act as a Technical Lead on Enterprise scale projects · An undergraduate college degree or equivalent experience · In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) · In-depth working knowledge of Windows NT Kernel based Operating Systems · In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer · In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy · In-depth working knowledge of network tracing · In-depth Working knowledge of Windows troubleshooting · Working knowledge of enterprise anti-virus software and related infrastructure (Ideally McAfee) · Working familiarity with enterprise desktop management software (e.g. APP-V (Softgrid) /LANDesk) · Familiarity with enterprise system support processes including change control, problem management and escalation procedures CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS - Skills Required: · Ability to deploy software packages, Microsoft patches, distribution points, customized MOF files, custom reports and dashboards utilizing SCCM. · Ability to troubleshoot SCCM client installations, management components and services · Senior level experience in written and verbal communications on technical issues to all levels of the organization · Ability to grasp complex technical issues quickly · Ability to define and communicate complex problems and business requirements in non-technical terms · Leadership and organizational skills needed to prioritize assignments and provide feedback to staff · Detail oriented additional skills: Skills with Group Policy, scripting, McAfee ePO and Internet Explorer are beneficial.
