Day to day: All of their application packaging and deployment Updates to Firefox or Chrome or Symantec protection application or a business application, any software that needs to go to workstations that would go on 20 or more workstations, his team provides the service to put a wrap around it and put it into a deployable state so they can either Put it into a means where someone can self-install Deploy that for the clients with SCCM 100% of time spent on application packaging, sometimes scripting to get it into a deployable means Need: SCCM PowerShell and other scripting tools Combination of new creation of script and running existing scripts Today, its a custom script per application No 3rd party packaging tool so its all inherent in what SCCM provides or leveraging scripting to provide the wrap around it 3+ years of experience Someone who pretty much drives his work, meaning they know whats most important, how to prioritize, even with 10+ balls in the air at the same time Shown and demonstrated with previous engagements the ability to effectively prioritize work Strong communication skills – business customers asking for package deployment are not IT so you have to be able to take IT jargon to the right level depending on the customer Some customers will be IT customers so they will be more technical, others with be the business customers Lots of verbal and written communication and documentation, very independent role Software packaging (physical and virtual), group policy, task sequence building.
