Provide Information Security-specific technical expertise and coordination with Enterprise Project Office, Development, Network Engineering, Test and Support teams to ensure solutions/functionality implemented are in compliance with T-Mobiles Information Security Standards and industry best practices. Required Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide ongoing project consultation specifically on designs and implementation of software systems/solutions, ensuring all project objectives adhere to T-Mobile Security Standards and/or best practices Possess strong customer service skills, a desire to assist people and the ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and professionalism. A thorough understanding of SDLC methodology Ability to author thorough documentation and attention to detailed requirements. Well developed analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multi task and set priorities accordingly Ability to adapt to changes and quickly grasp new products and technology Keep current with Security Technologies Ability to participate on weekends/holidays and after hours work as required, such as Project deployment support Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements that meet the baseline security controls to ensure the protection of sensitive data elements based on regulatory controls, i.e. (SOX, PCI, CPNI, PII). Desired Skills: Understanding of encryption, obfuscation, tokenization technologies and secure system to systems communications Background in network security, in addition to but not limited elements as well as general to LAN/WAN/WIFI networking knowledge to aid in the design of a solid of network security solutions. Experience in trouble shooting security architecture technologies and issue resolution Experience with high level design Architecture, Firewall, Internet, LAN Router, Network, Protocols, SNMP, Web Services, and SOA Understand general Telecom technology including concepts behind T1/E1, T3/E3, Ethernet, SoNET, MPLS, VPLS, Frame Relay, ATM, and VOIP.
