Proficient in application development skills for more than one technology as well as proficient in multiple design techniques. This position should typically be used for an advanced or lead level resource. *Either skills or additional skills are required Additional Skills: Required: -6+years of professional experience as an IVR Developer with development, deployment and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment. -Experience in all phases of the SDLC with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation -Working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/menthodologies -Demonstrated experience with version control tools such as Subversion -Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic -Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation -BS Computer Science or specialized training Prefered skills -Strong working knowledge of IVRs (Convergys) -Knowledge of Call Routing Platforms (Genesis) -Strong working knowledge of Telecom Carriers and circuit protocols Roles and Responsibilities: The IVR Developer is responsible for: - Tier 2 IVR Platform Support - Change Management process initiation and impact analysis - Hardware and Telephony troubleshooting methodology - Hardware and Telephony deployment and platform reporting. The IVR Platform consists of all equipment used from answering incoming calls to making backend transactions for data. The position will require off hours support as needed.
