Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with VB6 and VB.Net code. Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations. Use a source code repository, such as TFS for checking source code in and out and branching off new versions of the source code. Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups. Coordinate service requests with various other ITS teams for releases and changes for the application. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor. Mandatory Qualifications: Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software. 60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 84 Months experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain complex n-tier applications using C#, ASP.NET. 84 months experience with Oracle: writing SQL and PL/SQL queries, updates, stored procedures, functions and cursors, and Oracle SQL query optimization. 84 Months experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize modern client-side technologies such as HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets. 60 months experience in interpreting and developing Visual Basics 6 (VB6) code and structure. 36 Months experience in developing applications that utilize .Net Core MVC and Angular frameworks. 84 Months experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .Net web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SOAP/Restful APIs, message and queue processing, and/or an Enterprise Service Bus. 60 Months experience in automated unit testing, utilization of Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 or later, for development activities and code repositories 36 Months experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
