The team is geographically distributed across the globe, and the candidate will be expected to engage with all the team members with good communication (verbal/writing) skills. The candidate will be working closely with Technology Team colleagues, Business Stakeholders and SMEs throughout the delivery lifecycle. Business Analyst within a programme team, delivering projects against cost, schedule, quality and time and following the Agile methodology. The programme is the build and delivery of front office control solution highlighting key risk and control indicators across multiple asset classes for the Barclays organisation. The user base for the project has global presence across all Barclays offices. This is a hands-on role and includes proactive involvement in the following aspects of Project: X Following Agile methodology to deliver technology solutions to business stakeholders, act as part of a collaboration to design and implement product X Gathering requirements from Users, Building Test Plans, Coordinating the modules from inception through development and to implementation of the program, delivered as a series of implementation components over phased releases. X Creation of several project documentations, to team standards, to allow stakeholder and technology team engagement and successful delivery. X Interaction with business and technical professionals in multiple governance forums across delivery lifecycle. X Participate on User Experience Design and Business Process Design; X Working with Business to document BRDs; X Writing Functional Specifications; X Working with Development and Project Managers to build the project plan; X Quality Management by writing Test Plans, Test Cases, and overseeing the testing; X Scope Management; X Stakeholder Management. Person Requirements * Bachelors degree Basic * Business analysis experience within a banking environment (5+ years) * Working knowledge of Supervisory and regulatory processes (5+ years) * Working knowledge of Operations / risk & regulatory control / reporting (5+ years) * Highly effective verbal and written communication skills * Understanding of the full SDLC development lifecycle Basic * Outstanding presentation skills * Requirements Gathering & Documenting (Business Requirement Document) * Data Analysis & Reporting (SQL query skill) * Writing Functional Specification Preferred: * Agile Experience - 2+ years * Spotfire business reports - 2+ years * Scope Management * Stakeholder Management * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Experience in working under pressure but a structured governance driven environment * Ability to make good/sound decisions and use independent judgment * Ability to deliver * Flexibility * Ability to manage changing requirements in a highly dynamic environment * Gravitas to interact with senior members of both IT and Business teams * UX & Workflow Experience * Experience within a large program   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
