This individual must remain up to date with the Microsoft licensing rules and be able to guide customers on the appropriate way to license their environments. They must also maintain detailed records of what is reported on behalf of HPE and how that ties back to the various projects/customers. The Hosted Licensing Specialist will be self-motivated, driven, highly organized and have excellent time management skills. WORK PERFORMED Customer Support Specialist responsibilities and duties include: 60% Subject Matter Expert Respond to all Microsoft SPLA requests from PRMT process within SLA Remain up to date on all Microsoft licensing rules and guide project teams on how to appropriate license their environment. Educate project teams and HPE on any pricing or licensing changes When pertinent provide analysis of cost impacts to HPE when prices change 50% Account Management Actively work with contacts to ensure timely usage reporting through monthly compliance efforts Manage end customer enrollments for HPE SPLA Agreement Keep detailed report of HPE project contacts, and services tied to each end customer enrollment Update HPE SPLA Agreement Database with all project information Provide management with reporting details to assist in conversations with Microsoft Track and support all reporting disputes, work with finance when necessary to confirm charges Responsible for all internal credit requests Use SLMS Chameleon tool to register all new enrollments Work with the ITO team to keep accurate records on SPLA usage reports Follow up with accounts that report directly to ensure usage reports are submitted monthly QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Maintain professional relationships with teammates, vendors, and clients Deep level of knowledge of all applicable hosted licensing programs including Product Use Rights. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from account executives, clients, and vendors. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must and proven telephone skills are required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and/or Experience Minimum 3 years of related experience with Volume Licensing or Hosted Licensing Programs Bachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or related selling experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
