Azure Identity Dev Support!

Client is hiring an Azure Identity Dev. Support Engineer based out of Irving, TX (remote until safe to go onsite). This us an 18 month contract and while on contract you are eligible for 15 days of PTO and benefits. The role we are hiring for currently will start on the 11 am to 8 pm CST shift M-F. No two days are the same in Customer Service and Suppor. They engage in solving challenging and complex problems, they collaborate and share learnings with each other and innovate on solutions to enable customers make the most of products. You need excellent problem-solving skills for some of the most technically complex and challenging problems that Enterprise customers report when building custom solutions with their code. We cannot work corp to corp and we are not able to work with individuals who require sponsorship to work int he US.

Technical Knowledge Required:

• 2+ years web application development and debugging (preferred languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, C++)

• 2+ years of experience in application development, software support or I.T. consulting, with experience in two of the following technologies:

o Azure Active Directory

o Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) – or similar 3rd party experience (Shibboleth, CA SiteMinder, Okta, PING etc.)

o Identity and Access Management

o Cloud Application Management and configuration

o Use of a Representation State Transfer (REST) API set and understanding of RESTful API development.

o Module-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and MVC Development

o Experience with client-side OAuth protocol libraries such as Azure Active Directory Authentication Library (ADAL), Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) in any one of their released programming languages and server-side OAuth protocol libraries such OWIN, OpenID Connect or Katana is preferred.

o Other specialty product knowledge is preferred as well in Identity Authorization and Authentication.

o US Citizenship required

Role Description:

You will be accountable for providing an outstanding technical support experience to our business customers. From problem identification to full resolution, you will own and manage your cases over the phone and Web. When needed, you will transfer your cases to your colleagues or involve subject matter experts or escalate to Engineering (Product Groups) or Management. Your day to day job will be about providing both technical expertise (either on your own or by involving your colleagues) and about being an excellent communicator and a service oriented professional. You will be given the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in one of more areas and receive guidance and mentorship from your colleagues.

Core Responsibilities:

Be available to take ownership of new cases and escalations via telephone and Web and provide support to enterprise customers and partners.

Scope a customers issue by collecting the relevant facts; investigate the problem by doing your own research and by involving other teams as needed.
