Project Specific Tasks/Deliverables:

Description of Work:

Assessors Office main task is to complete Roll accurately and in timely manner and Information System provides support activities to multiple systems to achieve this goal. The Assessor Office is looking for Systems Administrator to support desktop, servers, network and storage operational needs during the roll close season.

Outcomes of Deliverables:

To produce an annual assessment roll including all assessable property in accordance with legal mandates in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner; and provide current assessment-related information to the public and to governmental agencies in a timely and responsive way. Regular operational support in producing annul roll that is used as basis for collecting property taxes.

Knowledge Transfer Plan:

Documentation along with on the job training to different resources assigned


General Experience:

Seeking a Systems Administrator to supports one or more systems or applications of simple to moderate complexity, including infrastructure systems, applications and platforms, by ensuring control, integrity and accessibility.

Typical Tasks:

1. Assists in managing technical changes, verifying testing results, and monitoring technical
standards compliance and deployment;

2. Participates in infrastructure administration project efforts with IT groups;

3. Monitors production, outputs, and services to help ensure that SLAs/OLAs, and other quality
metrics, are being met;

4. Gathers required information for reporting on security issues; analyzes audit trails to detect
systematic security violations; makes recommendations to improve security and participates
in investigations as needed; and implements security measures needed to address security
issues and/or enhance security posture of the infrastructure;

5. Provides technical support and administration for IT infrastructure to include support for
servers, storage, backup and replication systems, IAM and core IT infrastructure applications;

6. Maintains reliability, performance and availability of IT infrastructure and applications;

7. Develops new alerts and monitoring techniques;

8. Writes reviews and/or maintains technical documentation for production environments;

9. Reports on key systems administrative metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs); Provides
coaching/mentoring to team members;

10. Evaluates, develops and implements enhancements to improve the reliability, scalability,
sustainability, and availability of the infrastructure environment;

11. Performs software installations and upgrades to IT infrastructure and layered software
packages; applies system and application updates, patches, and configuration changes;

12. Troubleshoots problems by analyzing root causes and evaluating solution alternatives;

13. Provides feedback and recommendations on requirements based on health check results;

14. Collects and maintains tracking and configuration documentation and plans;

15. Supports and participates in the formal reporting of project status;

16. Gathers data pertaining to customer needs, and uses the information to identify, predict,
interpret, and evaluate system requirements;


Employment and Education Standards:

Training and Experience:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college;

And

Five (5) years of experience installing and supporting infrastructure hardware and software, applications, and operating systems.
