Job Description :

Need to decommission- technical SME who understands o365, need to lead activities, get activities, google admin/0635 architect already in place- getting rid of licensing

Need to take direction, pulling teams together with what the US is doing- more teams with EU counterparts, get tasks done- coordinating, working with teams for impact, using google

Technical person can help answer questions and direct to the right team

0365/messaging- must have a background in licensing, email design

Oversee delivery and troubleshooting messaging- need to understand how to use the tool

Doesnt need to execute the changes, baseline understanding on email system

Overall email background will be the best candidate- strong technical resource

Data migration would be a huge plus; licensing removal; google apps; technical migration



General - Technical lead will coordinate other teams and execute tasks themselves oriented towards our teams goal. Tasks involve consolidating data within Excel allowing for reporting and execution. Tech lead will also play a project management type role in leading and coordinating other teams towards implanting the agreed upon approach and plan. They will coordinate other technical teams based on the tasks needed, report status regularly, and work to solve constraints faced during execution.



Project Specific - We need a resource to help us manage the technical work involved with removing Google accounts from our environment. They will not be the technical resource doing the decommissioning work but we need a strong tech lead to coordinate our teams, communicate and work with our business leads and IT teams to help them remediate any issues impacting our ability to remove their accounts. With the help of other technical leads, they will reach out to other IT team members to investigate and inform them of our decom approach and extract those app owners plans to resolve the issue. They will lead creating and submitting change management documents ahead of our major decommissioning events and must be able to understand what we are doing at a technical level so he can represent the project when discussing with our Support teams prior to go live. The ideal candidate will have experience with known spectrum of cloud-based technologies (e.g. Google Apps, Microsoft Office 365)
Participate in design related conversations, advise on configuration and engineering work in relation to the messaging system
Understand email Design and oversee delivery of email services
Experience designing and troubleshooting messaging and mail routing scenarios is a plus
Participate in relevant proactive projects. Implement updates or revisions of relevant IT infrastructure on an as-needed basis.
Competence in troubleshooting current versions Google Apps for Work, MS Office suite applications, cloud-based collaborative technologies
Potentially collaborate with other infrastructure and application teams, to implement use of our email and O365 systems (regarding Google App Decommission) where required or desired.
Expertise in documenting requirements, establishing scope and objectives and determining the strategy for implementing systems to achieve business goals.
