No overtime will be permitted unless authorized by the DIT management team.] Description: The developer will become part of the enterprise Sharepoint Pilot Team with the specific deliverable of a Telecommunications services portal for Agency Service (AS) clients. The winning candidate will be responsible for all aspects of development of the portal and all system integration activities associated with its deployment. Approximately 25 services with varying features are available from DTMB Telecommunications. Each of these services will need to be added to the portal, tested, documented, and announced to clients as they become available. Working within our existing environment that consists of MS Share Point, BMC Remedy, MS Active Directory, Matsch MOST, and SMMS (DTMB .net app for change control), the developer must design a easy to use clientless web application that will introduce and describe a service, step the client thru the ordering process, provide a shopping cart like holding queue for orders, and provide a mechanism for checking on orders already in the system. A. Candidates will be evaluated on the following criteria: Web Developer Senior Develops, maintains, and supports applications for the organizations Internet/Intranet sites. Gathers and analyzes requirements. Programs all or selected components of web applications. Documents components and applications. Develops automation techniques to enable end-user content publishing; programs, tests and implements mapped graphic images, forms and HTML pages; handles client browser support inquiries; maintains links to external sites and accuracy on internal links while ensuring up-to-date information. Researches, evaluates and recommends new Internet tools and applications for use in assigned responsibilities. Education: This position prefers a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field Experience: 4 to 7 years of IT work experience. Additional Requirements (highly desirable and high priority): . 5 or more years of SharePoint Development . 2 or more years of experience consulting with customers on SharePoint design and development .
