Scope of Work :

Brief descriptions of the services and/or other requirements are defined below. The vendor(s) selected will conduct the body of work required under L&I leadership. The descriptions below are not intended to completely describe all of the work that the Vendor(s) would need to perform to complete the work required under work orders resulting from this Work Request. The work will include, but is not limited to, the following:
? Support agency initiatives for a new technical solution, to include but not limited to the:
o Participate as the projects solution architect
o Participate as a tech lead in all phases of the project life-cycle (analysis, design, implement, testing, & deploy)
o Manage all aspects of the implementation or development of a ?new system?
o Participate in the Buy-Build analysis and recommendation
o E- Government initiatives (solution component features to connect to external parties)
o Integration and messaging with back-end mainframe legacy applications
o Define and coordinate any legacy system enhancements required by the targeted solution
o Work closely with agencys Enterprise Architecture team with alignment, compliance, potential research related to the project solution
o Development of conceptual and logical architecture designs for application implementation or development
? Augment the resources of the Structured Settlement Agreements technical project team.
? Adhere to agency standards, including architectural standards, standard development methodologies, establishment of appropriate electronic data securities, program module movement, verification and recycling of these processes within a controlled environment.
? Define and/or implement solutions in compliance to enterprise technical architectures or environments that support Purchasers business needs.
? Understand, advocate and augment the principles of business and IT — and more specifically enterprise architecture (EA) related to the new application solution.
? Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive technical architecture for the new application solution.
? Assess new applications technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
? Understand, advocate and support the enterprises IT strategies.
? Ensure compliance of new application solution to the governing principles and guidelines.
? Lead the development or implementation plan for the new application based on business requirements and IT strategies.
? Consult with project teams to fit projects to enterprise architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the enterprise architecture to accommodate project needs.
? Consult with infrastructure development project teams to fit infrastructure to architecture.
? Oversee the new application documentation of all architecture analysis, design, and implementation work. .
? Oversee the technical architecture of the new application for new and/or shared infrastructure solutions.
? Oversee and facilitate the selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations for the new application.
? Consult on application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to the technical architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate project needs.
? Document necessary technical architecture design and analysis work, possibly including project postmortem documentation and metric collection.
? Develop and communicate business/technology alignment plans to executive team, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
