Work on COVID related Chamber projects such as NYC Pause NYS Business Data and Complaint Data exchange between NYS and NYC. Work on legacy Documentum migration projects for the ongoing SLA PBITS and DOS AEB Documentum migration. Support ongoing daily development tasks which involve Java, J2EE, ORM (Hibernate), Spring, Java Callout, Service call out, Exception handling, Security and Java Frameworks / Packages such as JQuery. Support ongoing daily development tasks which involve of Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, XSLT, XSD, XPATH and related frameworks in Java like JAX-WS to support NYBE project that utilize the Service Oriented Architecture technology. Develop Java application framework using WS Extensions specifications like WS-Security, WS-Coordination, WS-Policy, and lead/help the NYBE team to build a system that meets the SDLC requirements. Work with the Splunk team, leverage the COO standard monitoring tool – Splunk application, monitor the NYBE applications on daily basis, to query the events and logs. Detect the system bugs with unexpected outages. Work with Jenkins, help the NYBE team to build automated deployment scripts using POM.XML, and working with ITS COO Middleware team to streamline the deployment process. Configure and maintain applications in WebLogic application server. Work with NYBE Architect to create contracts, onboard and monitoring services in service governance tool such as AKANA and provide KT to the NYBE state staff. Provide daily knowledge Transfer to state staff which will include object-oriented analysis, design patterns/techniques with emphasis on Java/J2EE technology. Work closely with the NYBE SOA team to implement and processing License transactions for DOS, DTF, DOL, WCB, Gaming, DOH agencies and continue to implement and process licenses for future releases. Develop modern web applications using Node.js, React.js, Vue.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.js Front End technology along with Microsoft .NET Framework using C#, ASP.NET and Java J2EE Back End technology. Understand project goals and objectives. Work with business analysts to understand requirements. Develop applications and system integration through SDLC, including designing, performing proof of concept, developing and testing. Work on various components of Portal and Back Office processing programs. Develop and maintain business rules based on requirements using Oracle Policy Automation (OPA). Build and deploy using standard procedures including the Oracle Policy Automation Hub. Create accurate and timely documentation for specifications, design documents, test cases and knowledge transfer. Work closely with customers to create and support business workflow and background data processing. Work with other team members and customers on data conversion and migration. Provide production support as required. Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Work as a peer with other developers. Mandatory Qualifications: Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer 60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
