The vendor(s) selected will conduct the body of work required under L&I leadership. The descriptions below are not intended to completely describe all of the work that the Vendor(s) would need to perform to complete the work required under work orders resulting from this Work Request. The work will include, but is not limited to, the following: • Adhere to agency standards, including architectural standards, standard development methodologies, establishment of appropriate electronic data securities, program module movement, verification and recycling of these processes within a controlled environment. • Define and/or implement enterprise technical architectures or environments that support Purchasers business needs. • Understand, advocate and augment the principles of business and IT — and more specifically enterprise architecture (EA) — strategies in one or more of the EA areas defined within this category. • Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive technical architecture. • Analyze the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. • Analyze technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise. • Lead the creation or evolution of the enterprise architecture function/program. • Understand, advocate and support the enterprises IT strategies. • Experience in one or more categories of Enterprise-level System Integration, Networking, Common Technical Infrastructure and Services, Web Portals, Service Oriented-Architecture (SOA), Business Process and Data Modeling, Data Standards, Security, Middleware, Data Warehousing, Web Development including Extensible Markup Language (XML), Data Security, Records Retention, and any other area related to EA planning and development to meet business needs. • Lead and facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide EA decision making. • Lead the development of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies. • Consult with project teams to fit projects to enterprise architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the enterprise architecture to accommodate project needs. • Consult with infrastructure development project teams to fit infrastructure to architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate infrastructure needs. • Identify organizational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support the enterprise architecture. • Experience with EA frameworks, including the National Association of Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) Tool-kit • Experience with Enterprise modeling and repositories. • Oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work. • Lead the development and execution of a communication and education plan for the enterprise architecture. • Design and lead the implementation of an ETA based on business requirements and IT strategies, as well as to rectify gaps and pain points within the current state. • Assist with designing the governance activities associated with ensuring ETA compliance. • Oversee or consult on technical architecture (for example, systems) implementation and modification activities (for example, projects), particularly for new and/or shared infrastructure solutions. • Oversee and facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations. • Consult on application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to the tec   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
