Job Description Analyst: SQL 2005, SSIS, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, C# XML

[Note : The interview process is only 1 phone screen to hire. This is a 6 month renewable contract]

Summary
The Data Analysts responsibility will be to ensure the proper data are entered into AHM systems and that the data are complete, accurate and entered in a timely manner to support deployment and maintenance activities of AHMs services. Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. Data Analysts will need to solve technical problems and answers queries through multiple communication channels in support of internal systems, diagnose, identify, isolate and analyze problems utilizing current and historical database records.

Responsibilities

·Limited use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.

·Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.

·Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.

·Contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks.

·Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the section or group.

·Import / Export data provided by our clients in various formats into a relational SQL Server Database.

·Support internal business teams by providing technical expertise of data model and troubleshoot internal application issues related to data imports.

·Become an integral part of the development support team in the creation and maintenance of the next generation of import processes and infrastructure.

Competency Requirements

·2+ Years experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & Transact-SQL.

·SQL 2005 and SSIS experience preferred.

·Familiar with basic concepts of normalization.

·Basic understanding of relational database design and construction.

·C# and XML experience a plus.

·knowledge of the development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance

·Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

·Strong written and verbal communication skills

·Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Other Education, Skills, Experience

Desired
BS Computer Science or relevant experience

MS Certification a plus
