The Data Integration and Warehouse Developer also develops and maintains the creation of logical and physical data models. This role is also responsible for processing data into and out of multiple databases from internal and external source systems. Source to target data mapping and development, data profiling, data quality, and lean and efficiently performing code are key success factors of this technical role. Job Expectations: Design, develop and test ETL processes to interface data from multiple internal and external systems that satisfy identified data model and business requirements. Partner with analysts, business owners, and end consumers to define business, operations, and business outcome requirements. Translate business requirements and expected outcomes into technical product solutions. Perform code unit tests and data quality assurance testing, ensure production implementation readiness and supportability, implement error free changes, and perform post-implementation product support (including on-call rotation). Independently completes complex work assignments with minimum oversight, with proactive issue resolution, initiative, and communication. As a continuous improvement environment, always seeks to learn, test, and incorporate new methods at any phase of the delivery and service management lifecycle Required: 3+ years of ETL, data integration, and SQL development experience in SSIS or Data Stage. 3+ years of experience sourcing and targeting Oracle or SQL Server database designs. 3+ years of experience with logical and physical data modelling as part of solution design. 3+ years experience with data warehouse design and methodologies, including change data capture, star schemas, snowflakes, cubes and dimensional modeling. Excellent logical, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to IT and business audiences. Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and research into systems and data issues.
