Job Description :


SSIS is required.
CozyRoc is another tool used for data movement.
SSDT 2015 / Visual Studio 2015
SQL Server 2012 upgraded to 2016.

Projects:

1. On the move – 10 stories in the backlog. 8 in current sprint.
2. Reveal – data migration to Reveal. As you onboarding new plan and assigned providers. Routing, Scheduling, Dispatch.
3. Credentialing project
4. Manual data pulls, miscellaneous data movement.

Team dynamics: 4 ETL Developers and Manager. 1 in Lake St. Louis. Manager and 3 ETL Developers sit in Maryville Centre. Candidates can sit in either location but would prefer to have 1 in LSTL and 1 in Maryville Centre.

SQL Server 2012 upgraded to 2016.


The Database Developer will be responsible for developing solutions for data integration, data migration and ETL (extract, transfer and load) processes. Other duties include: providing technical expertise related to data automation to appropriate personnel, both internal and external, coordinating with Contractors working on ETL-related projects/activities, and collaborate with IT staff to coordinate integration of ETL components of larger projects.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
? Design and develop innovative solutions for managing data movement in, out of and between various data systems, platforms and file types
? Design and build database reports
? Manage source code versioning and deployment
? Monitor, maintain and enhance production ETL processes
? Perform unit and integration testing
? Respond, address and resolve issue tickets in a timely and professional manner
? Write and maintain technical documentation
? Collaborate with internal and external Clients as well as Developers and Business Analysts to define and understand technical requirements
? Follow industry and company standards, including HIPAA security guidelines, and best practices for ETL and database development
? Proactively identify and implement process improvements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:
? Proficient in SQL development (complex queries, stored procedures, user defined functions) and performance tuning
? Proficient in ETL design and development in at least one tool, such as SSIS, Informatica, IBM Infosphere, Data Loader
? Basic knowledge of C#.net for SSIS scripting
? Understanding of RDBMS principles
? Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall SDLCs (Software Development Life Cycle)
? Analytical and problem solving skills
? Ability to design and create database reports using reporting tools such as SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy
? Understanding of Data Warehouse methodologies and approaches such as Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, along with an appreciation for the value of an Operational Data Store and an Enterprise Data Warehouse
? Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
? Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, positive attitude, and demeanor
? Accepts responsibility
? Passionate about delivering working software
? Ability to adapt and maintain stress tolerance in a rapidly changing environment

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
? Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience
? Minimum of four (4) years enterprise ETL experience
? Minimum of four (4) years experience with SQL
? Experience with source code management software, such as TFS (Team Foundation Server)
? Data base design and modeling experience, preferred
