SSRS DML DDL Scaling DB Developer (Jobs in Charlotte, NC)   Requirement id 70210 Job title Developer Job location in Charlotte, NC Skills required Windows Active Directory, SSRS, DML, DDL Scaling DB Open Date 25-May-2018 Close Date Job type Contract to Hire Duration 3 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Developer: Windows Active Directory, SSRS, DML, DDL Scaling DB Skillset: 70% Infrastructure (administration and thorough understanding of Sharepoint and SSRS components) 20% Development (T-SQL queries and general knowledge of relational databases hosted on SQL Server) 10% Analytics (Basic analytic skills for data validation) Responsibilities: Assess the current-state of the environment and project scope and refine a strategic migration plan of SSRS reports Provide recommendations to team leadership regarding existing SSRS target infrastructure Perform testing and development of necessary changes in lesser environments to bring about standard practices to SSRS reports, according to best-practices and guidelines, including and not limited to: Upgrading reports from SSRS / Sharepoint 2007 to SSRS 2016 versions Remove imbedded data sources from reports and leverage the use shared data sources Utilize Active Directory accounts instead of SQL Server logins for data source authentication Implement data-sets if necessary Qualifications Fundamental knowledge of: Microsoft Active Directory authentication components Windows Server administration SQL Server databases and services 5++ years of experience in: SQL Server database development (T-SQL, DML, DDL, and basic schema design) SSRS report development (Data Tools / Visual Studio, and BIDS) Administration of SSRS (2012+), building / scaling front-end servers for load-balancing and high-availability (server farms) is highly favorable Managing and Administration of Sharepoint and / or SSRS environments (non-integrated Sharepoint experience is acceptable) Migration of SSRS reports, report parts, and their dependencies The candidate must be self-motivated and able to communicate with other team members to provide concise technical details to experts and non-experts alike   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
