Job Description :

Key Skills:

- heavy release scheduling and coordination

- understand when releases are approved

- Execute change orders or change management, when something can/should be implemented

- Experience in Agile environment

- QA/Testing experience is a big plus

Location: San Francisco, but will start remotely


Participate in work teams to ensure quality processes are in place. Perform activities related to the release and deployment process and ensure processes are followed and within desired timelines.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Coordinate documentation, communications, and training for releases. Work with teams to ensure final steps of the release and deployment plan are complete.

Identify and respond to complex changes in service offerings and processes.

Ensure that change processes are in place for releases to production environments.

Identify the criteria needed for a release and deployment solution, and assists in coordinating all resources required to build, test and deploy releases. Include knowledge information, hardware, software, and infrastructure.

Identify gaps, errors, and workarounds that could breach release and deployment schedules and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Provide solutions to ensure release and deployment processes continue with limited disruption.

Record and report release and deployment requests metrics to ensure alignment with SLAs and release schedules.

Regularly coordinate with business departments to suggest improvements to system use and processes.

Advocate for improvements through the integrated service management approach.

Work as a liaison for the service transition team and guide the organization on delivering changes into the service structure.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

Agile

Prior Project Management and/or System Implementation and Release Coordination experience.

Implementation of applications into a production environment.

Critical and Analytical Thinking.

Adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.

Change management.

Coordinate teams and delegate work.

Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Manage conflict and tactfully handle complaints and difficult situations.

Project Management.

Nice to have: Testing and ability to write test plan
