Description: The Quality Engineer III supports quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment . The Quality Engineer III is responsible for providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test cases/scripts; and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. The Quality Engineer III is expected to leverage technical expertise to develop maintain and execute automation tests. As well, the Quality Engineer III should help identify opportunities to improve application code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage. The Quality Engineer III would also be engaged in leading testing efforts involving coaching, mentoring , code reviews and contributing to improvements to frameworks , tools , processes and best practices. Skill/Experience Requirements Level III 8+ years of QA experience Experience working with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab etc.) Experience driving QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment Proficient in defect tracking and analyzing root cause utilizing tools ( Jira , Rally etc.) Strong understanding of automation concepts and approaches . Experience working or leading remote teams Understand and utilize risk based testing technique Provide leadership to quality engineers , i.e. mentoring , onboarding , training etc. Strong experience in test environment and test data management Strong communication , leadership and collaboration skills , to challenge the norm Specialization/Role Requirements for Automation 5+ years of experience writing Selenium tests in Java or Javascript using ( Web Driver , Web Driver IO, Marathon , Appium etc.) 5+ years of experience with test runners (Junit, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine) 5+ years of experience with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab) 2+ years of experience with Selenium Grid 3+ years of working in an Agile/Scrum methodology 2+ years of using Jira for defect tracking 3+ years of using Quality Center/ALM for test case management Use SQL for back-end database validation Prefer Selenium being utilized in the current/most recent project Prefer Agile methodology being utilized in the current/most recent project Prefer experience in the SAFe Agile approach Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts utilizing modular frameworks and best practices Points to focus on: · Need a senior level resource · Needs to have minimum 5+ years of experience with automation. · Being technical with Selenium Webdriver is important. · Someone who has progressed in their career from an Automation Tester to an Automation Lead over a small group is the ideal candidate. · 50% hands on work and 50% Lead/Mentorship work. · Top Technical skillsets is strong in Java, Selenium Webdriver and comfortable in a web/mobile environment.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
