Prepare Functional Specifications and Design documents Develop new Java modules independently Prepare test cases. Perform String testing. Work with Packing Plants and packaging clients to implement and support line management automation software to manage serialization. Work with distribution centers to implement serialized product tracking solutions. Provide support for System, User and Quality testing. Key Experiences/Skills 5+ Years Required Experience in an IT position Development Experience in Java using Spring MVC framework Implementation of Service Oriented Architecture by publishing and consuming Web Services that are developed using SOAP and RESTful protocols with frameworks like JAX-WS, Apache Axis2, JAX-RS Experience in developing UI using jQuery, JSON and Ajax. Integration and deployment of applications using tools like ANT, Maven and debugging through logging frameworks like log4j. Experience in using IDEs such as Rational Application Developer, Eclipse etc. Good understanding of WSDL, XML, JAXB, XSD. Good experience in using various version controls like SVN, CVS. Good understanding in working with IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere MQ, Java Messaging Services. Experience in implementing with Hibernate is a plus SQL and related database technologies (normalization, views, etc.) Good understanding of Object oriented software design and concepts; e.g. design patterns Experience with creating test cases and test plans. Be able to perform manual String testing. Be able to work coordinate with global teams in Americas, EMEA and India. Self-starter; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a matrixed organization. Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
