Working under our SharePoint Solutions Technical lead and with Engagement Management, Design, and other SharePoint Solutions resources, as well as engagements business partners, this role iteratively develops client-side SharePoint Solutions that can be owned and operated by a knowledgeable Site Collection Administrator, Site Administrator, or power-user. These solutions may also include business process automation (workflow) and business intelligence (scorecard/dashboard) features. More broadly, this role also represents ESS as a SharePoint SME within the SharePoint Community and may influence adoption of industry best practices as well as principles and processes uniquely related to SharePoint. . Responsibilities include: • Collaborate with Design and other SharePoint Solutions resources team to deliver targeted, client-side business solutions on SharePoint 2013 and later SharePoint 2016 platforms • Maintain awareness of other SharePoint development efforts within Wells Fargo and creating synergies where appropriate • Explore technologies that complement the base SharePoint platform for the purpose of further empowering Lines of Business • Perform solution testing providing technical quality assurance • Ensure development policies, procedures, and guidelines are established and followed • Contribute tips, trick, and best practices to the Community knowledgebase • Act as an escalation point for production troubleshooting guidance Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with building client-side business solutions with JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery and associated frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, AngularJS) on MOSS2007, SharePoint 2010-2016. Some basic design/layout experiences a plus. 5+ years of strong CSS experience. 5+ years of experience with SharePoint web services via SPServices and/or REST. 5+ years of experience in use of SharePoint Designer 2007 through 2016, including custom pages and workflows 5+ years deep and wide understanding of SharePoint OOB offerings, common solution patterns, and best practices. 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and jQuery. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft-based software development, including full understanding of application architecture concepts, OO principals, and SDLC patterns and best practices. Ability to work remotely with both business partners and technical resources on highly collaborative teams. Preferred Qualifications: 4 year Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Experience with AngularJS, Angular2 and/or similar frameworks. Intermediate level of experience with Kendo UI. Experience with CAML, JSON and SharePoints implementation of CSS. Experience with REST and ODATA. Experience with Visual Studio 2008-2017 and TFS. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with UX resources on both low- and high-fidelity wireframes from concept to delivery, ensuring business needs are met within target platform constraints. Advanced skills in writing both technical and end user documentation. Ability to discuss and understand business wants and needs with non-technical audience.
