Description:

Duration: 6+ months - contract to hire.

The IT Tools team is responsible for the tools that support the entire project lifecycle, from Idea Identification through intake, prioritization, governance, execution, closure and benefit realization.

This position will be responsible for supporting the roadmap development, planning, analysis, design, enhancements, major deployments, upgrades, support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and user/role-based security maintenance for Project Online environments, and other system that support project, program, and portfolio management. as well as other systems as needed. The position will also be responsible for providing functional support and guidance on project management process design and software implementation best practices.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Maintain and support multiple Microsoft Project Online Instances.
Maintain and support Project Web App Settings, e.g. Personal, Enterprise, Queue and Database Administration, Workflow and Task Management, etc.
Develop, maintain and support custom solutions (templates, workflows, views, reports, dashboards, calendars, schedules, etc.);
Manage and create SharePoint sites in Project Online and develop, manage, and enable project and SharePoint workflows.
Understand the infrastructure setup of Project Online and the dependencies on the SharePoint Online environment.
Understand, implement and manage user security model for Project Online using the security templates, groups, and the Resource Breakdown structure.
In coordination with program assurance and process governance teams, support and maintain end user training and support, and assist in the development of training materials/Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system users.
•Create, maintain and execute against Project and Portfolio management tools roadmaps.
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the purpose and mission of Global Solutions Delivery.
Serve as a technical IT PMO Support Team member, responsible for executing against changes, enhancements, and release schedules for project and portfolio management toolsets.


Qualifications

1+ years of experience administering and supporting Microsoft Project Server and/or Microsoft Project Online, Microsoft VSTS, and Agile Project Management tools, providing general user support and training for the PMO, PMs, Program Managers, Resource Managers, and project team members.
Strong expertise and knowledge in project management best practices.
Hands-on experience in maintaining and supporting Project Server/Project Online environments.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting Project Server/Online/Professional issues to support all levels of end users.
Proficient with Microsoft Project Professional/Server/Online and SharePoint integration.
Advanced knowledge of MS Project Server/Online functionality, including Project Management, Resource Management, Demand Management and Portfolio Management.
Experience with integrating MS Project Server/Online platform with Office 365 suite.
Experience with integrating MS Project Server/Online platform with third-party reporting tools, team development tools, and IT operations tools such as Microsoft VSTS, and ServiceNow.
Bachelors Degree, or equivalent MS certification(s) and experience.
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
PMI-PMP, PRINCE2, Agile SCRUM Master certifications desired, but not required
