This role will be responsible for driving technical administration to ensure continued smooth
operations of the SpringCM document automation platform at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
This role will participate in solution design and implementation of new features in our
SpringCM instance.
CZIs Salesforce CRM is a key piece of technology infrastructure that helps us facilitate and
build meaningful relationships as an organization. Salesforce provides a database of all
partners that CZI works with, and provides applications that drive forward grantmaking and
legal agreements processing. Success in this role will improve functionality of the product
driving efficiency, data accuracy, and compliant processes for the 300+ users that use our CRM
product.
By pairing engineers with leaders in our education, science, and justice and opportunity teams,
we can bring technology to the table in new ways to help drive solutions. We are uniquely
positioned to design, build, and scale software systems to help educators, scientists, and policy
experts better address the myriad challenges they face. Our technology team is already helping
schools bring personalized learning tools to teachers and schools across the country and
supporting scientists around the world as they develop a comprehensive reference atlas of all
cells in the human body.
YOU WILL
? Lead the ongoing legal user training and success for all things CRM (Salesforce and
SpringCM)
? Specifically focus on training Legal team users in SpringCM best practices
? Configure, test, document and maintain out of the box and / or custom solutions,
integrations, and data migration elements of Salesforce and SpringCM
? Participate in technical design sessions; develop technical solution documentation
aligned with the business objectives
? Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery
? Follow configuration standards and participate in configuration reviews during projects
to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed
? Provide estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks
? Absorb new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce and SpringCM during
new product releases and Acquisitions
? Create innovative ways to integration with Salesforce, Spring CLM and other business
systems
? Strategically design, build, and support Salesforce processes to increase the efficiency
of the organization
? Participate in a cross-functional team to address strategic business issues, including
prototyping, feature prioritization, agile meetings, code review, and architecture
discussions
? Share knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team. Use past experience and
knowledge to mentor (and learn from) your peers in the department on Salesforce best
practices
? Deliver projects that are easy to deploy, update, and monitor by ensuring the tooling for
this is present early in the project development cycle
YOU HAVE
? 2+ years of experience implementing Salesforce with SpringCM
? Must have a clear knowledge of CRM System structure
? Must have a passion for training and helping people
? Configuration experience using the Salesforce pointandclick application administration
interface
? Excellent communication skills and a proven record of delivering on strategic sales
systems initiatives
? Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests,
and manage laterally and upwards
? Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
? Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
? Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at all
