Virginia ABC is seeking an infrastructure business systems analyst to work on a series of internal projects focused on the migration of technology and systems from VITA to other providers. Responsibilities: • Requirements elicitation, analysis and management • Identifying, evaluating and having a clear understanding of the high-level business needs of clients and stakeholders • Translating business requirements to detailed technical requirements with fluency to enable IT technical teams • Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources • Reconciling conflicting requirements • Abstracting up low-level technical information to high-level general understanding • Creation and update of requirements traceability matrix against architecture, design and test planning • Continuously monitoring and analyzing potential impacts to requirements and technical scope • Assisting in developing and validating test plans • Business process mapping of current state and desired state • Conduct risk assessments for solutions including impact on business and technical processes • Ability to conduct functional testing and/or partner with quality assurance analysts to ensure adequate coverage of requirements Position Requirements: • 5-10 years of proven track record working as a Business Systems Analyst on IT Infrastructure Projects • Excellent analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills • Solid communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues and clients both at a high-level (“Big-picture”) and at a detailed level (“technical”) • Keen interest in understanding new technologies and solving problems • Ability to develop productive business relationships with internal team members through cooperation, courtesy and professionalism • Proven track record of working with staff at all levels within an organization • Ability to play an integral part in project delivery given tight constraints and uncompromising quality • Effective, presentation, documentation and report writing skills Must have strong understanding in at least two or more of the following areas: o Capacity and Datacenter Management o Networks (LAN/WAN) o Servers (Unix/Windows) o Database Administration (SQL/Oracle) o Storage (NAS/SAN) o IT Security o Telecom o Application Deployment and Support Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Visio) experience Optional Requirements: • Experience using JIRA • Formal training/BSA Certification   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
