Description :

Searching for a candidate withexpertise in administering WebSphere Application Server and cloud systemadministration (including Azure, AWS, and Google). The ideal candidate shouldhave hands-on experience in a multi-tier and multi-platform enterprise class environments.

Total years of relevant Experience


12 years

Minimum of

- 8+ Years in WebSphere administration

- 2+ years in cloud products administration

- 5+ Years with application security product administration

- 5+ Years Experience administering Integration platform.

- 5+ Years experience working with government agencies.

- 5+ Years of providing comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs.

- 3+ Years of providing guidance, consultation with IT management and technical staffs regarding the use of emerging technologies

Preferred Education


4-year college degree or equivalent technical study

Role description


Remote
- 8-10 hours per day
- M-F, JFS core hours: 7a-6p (any 8-10 hours w/in those times)
- Subject to On-Call (we have an on-call rotation)

Job description (KSA):

Knowledge

·Strong knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windowsoperating system and system administration tasks

·Highly available vertical / horizontal scaling,disaster recovery capabilities

·Single Sign On, network load balancer,firewall, IP subnets.

·On-Prem monitoring tools like Splunk,Dynatrace,

·Cloud monitoring capabilities like AzureMonitor

·CI/CD pipelines: Ansible, Jenkins, Nexis,Mavin, Bitbucket etc.)

·Version control subsystem like: Git,Subversion, etc.

·Storage subsystem

·Salesforce

·Knowledge ofapplication development, implementation, and deployment experience.
Web services and data integration techniques,messaging and transformation.

·Lead experience tocreate design documentation and participate in code reviews with applicationteams.

·Strongtroubleshooting experience to research production issues including cryptography(digital certificates), networking, IBM MQs, Databases.

·Develop andtroubleshoot message translation issues integrating with backends (JSON toSOAP/SOAP to JSON)

·Experience withdeveloping pass-through and transformative API extensions

Skills

·Experience performing system and softwareaudits.

·Assesses and analyzes business requirements,current state environment and technology choices to evaluate security solutionalternatives that meet solution architecture needs and support enterpriserequirements.

·Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skillsrelated to Cloud, IAM and privileged access management.

·Excellent written and verbal communicationskills, on both technical and non-technical topics

·Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure thatproject deliverables and deadlines are met.

·Advanced root cause analysis and written andverbal communications skills.

·Experience supporting and participating in 24 X7 on-call weekly rotation.

·Experience handling and reacting toinfrastructure alerts reacting quickly.

·Communicating:

o Communicate with clients, assisting them with their needs to ensureclient satisfaction. Communicatethe deployment/release schedule, release artifacts, priorities, and status toall stakeholders.

·Coordinatereleases with internal stakeholders.

·Championbest practices and quality standards.
