This is a key role in the development of market-changing projects such as building systems for high priority company needs. This unique role gives you the chance to expand on your technical and analytical skills, while also developing strong communication skills as you work across a multitude of IT projects and initiatives. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: - Demonstrated success leveraging industry tools and techniques to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model, and analyze requirements. - Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices. - Agility in learning new systems and processes. - Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to investigate, assess and recommend solutions. - Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with and influence others. - Listening, verbal and written communications skills - Ability to effectively collaborate with others in a team-oriented environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. - Organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to details. - Agile methodology and SCRUM experience preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assesses the current state, defines needs and validates the solutions that deliver value to stakeholders - Accountable for articulating the business needs and applying industry-accepted tools and techniques that result in efficient and effective requirements that produce new and/or improved solutions. - Expected to use tools (TFS) and follow standard practices (i.e.: Acceptance Criteria in Given-When-Then format) to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model, and analyze business requirements, diverse in complexity and scope, and translates them into understandable terms used in high level, detailed requirements, and/or story cards. - Facilitates requirement review sessions to ensure work product is comprehensive and adheres to documentation standards, methodologies and regulatory standards. - Facilitates design review sessions with developers and subject matter experts to determine which solutions best meet the business need. - Defines business problems, business needs, objectives, costs, benefits, risks, dependencies and scope through research and analysis during high level planning, execution deployment and closing. - Identifies dependencies that may require scope changes.
